LESSON PROGRAM

Riding at Hunters Court Stable

Provides companionship with a generous animal - the horse!
Teaches responsibility, discipline, patience, coordination and good sportsmanship
Provides the opportunity to meet new friends - young and old- with whom you will share a love for horses
Can be as relaxing or as competitive as you want it to be

Hunters Court Stable offers:

Private, Semi-Private or Group lessons* (classes of six students or less) for the beginner, intermediate and advanced student. Children under 6 years of age must be evaluated by instructor before acceptance in lesson program.
Well-trained school horses for riders of all levels and ages.
A staff with state, regional and international experience - producing winning horses and riders since 1977. (Click here for more information about our trainers)
Coaching and training at local and out-of-town horse shows.
Quality horses for lease (monthly and for shows) and quality horses for sale at all times.

*Students must stay in private lessons until deemed safe by their riding instructor.

Schooling Shows

Our lesson program riders have the opportunity
to show at several Hunters Court schooling shows.
Lesson horses are available for a minimal lease fee.
Formal attire is not required and we strive
to make this a fun, relaxing show experience.

Local Shows (MTHJA-rated)

New riders wishing to begin competitive showing
are encouraged to show at the local horse show level.
These shows are held at Brownland Farm,
MTSU and Hunters Court Stable to name a few.

Middle Tennessee Hunter Jumper Association (MTHJA)
holds an awards banquet in January.

USEF Shows ("A"/"AA"-rated)

These shows are for the horse and rider
striving to reach the top level of competition.

For some riders, the ultimate goal of his/her showing experience
is to qualify for "Fall Indoors" where the top 2%
of the country's riders and horses qualify and compete at the
Pennsylvania National Horse Show and
the Washington International Horse Show.
Hunters Court Stable and David Wright have been very sucessful
qualifying horses and riders for "Indoors" and Winning!
